28th JANUARY 2015
2014 was a great year for us where we achieved so much and we will not stop there. For our next phase of development we would like to fill our empty seats. We therefore welcome any brass players to assist in our progression. We have instruments and uniforms available and all we need is a bit of your time and effort. We can reward you with having a great musical experience, meeting new people, development of team spirit, keeping your lip conditioned ready for better things, and having a good time. We would also welcome any ability on drums / percussion to give our music the desired heartbeat and rhythm to the music. A full kit is available.
We enjoy our music playing of modern music and we enjoy having fantastic comments so if you can help please contact Chris on mob 07525724822 or by Email to [email protected]. To book the band for your event please contact by Email, phone or post.

Wadebridge Town Band would like to thank all our supporters and players for their contribution in making this year our best ever. We have been able to purchase a new Bflat Bass, two new baritones and a new tenor horn. We have additionally been able to complete the music stand banners allocation and obtain a brightly coloured new uniform. On top of this we have also purchased new music with which to entertain you next year. This is a tremendous achievement in one year and we thank you all for your support.
Each year we are getting better and if you would like to join this fast developing dynamic brass band please come along to a practice evening or call 07525724822 for more details.

10TH June 2014
New uniform surprise and first summer engagement success.
Our first concert with our new uniforms went extremely well on Saturday 31st May and was very well received by the people and shoppers of Wadebridge. Every person commented how good we looked and also how well we played. The new rainbow band that we have become is unique and you will always know that it is Wadebridge Town Band.
That evening we also had a small concert for the Egloshayle Church event ‘Come dine with me’ which was also a great success and the hospitality and food provided was excellent too.
Our Royal Cornwall show event on the Co-op stand was also fantastic and the many compliments on the playing and our new look was awesome.
If you would like to book the band and add a musical experience to your event please Email [email protected] or phone Chris on 07525724822.

Wadebridge Town Band
The Wadebridge Town Band has been around for over ten years now and we still have not managed to gain enough funds to buy music stand banners. It would make the band look much more professional and additionally advertise who we are and where we come from. Other bands have them so we are missing a trick here. We are proud to be from Wadebridge and we want to advertise Wadebridge and the fact that we are the ‘best place to live in the south west’. We would like to purchase a set of banners and six will cost approx. £350. Any donations would be most welcome and together we can achieve the cost for these banners. If we can reach the target soon we can hopefully have them before the 2013 summer season. Please see a band member or contact Eric Gill on 01208815125 for more information. Additionally we may even pop in and have a chat sometime over Easter.
Additionally we require extra collectors and supporters to attend our Wadebridge and Padstow Quay concerts. Any help please!
If you would like to book the band for a small event please call Chris on mobile 07525724822 or Email at [email protected]

Christmas Message from Wadebridge Town Band
Christmas would not be Christmas without a brass band playing carols in the town street. Wadebridge Town Band will create the Christmas spirit on several occasions during Advent even though it may be cold and wet. We will play at the Wadebridge late night shopping event where we will also play to the Carol singing arranged by the Wadebridge Chamber of Commerce at 8pm. Followed by a couple of Saturday mornings at 11am in the town. We will play to individual shops in Wadebridge and hopefully provide a happy Christmas sound. We enjoy the playing and it also makes us feel more Christmassy and we hope to continue in the years to come.
Not everyone can be a good singer but anyone can play in a brass band. If you have healthy lungs and can tap a beat then you can be a band member. You can start at any age and we will train and give lessons. If you suffer from asthma playing a brass instrument is known to give health benefits as it is an ideal method to help control breathing and learn breathing techniques. Playing in a band gives you confidence, social interaction, you get to be a better player every time you practise, you play different styles of music, attend events/concerts, meet new people, make music which is fulfilling and relaxing and it builds team player skills. So it is not just banging out a tune.
If you feel you can help as a player or helper we would warmly welcome your support, so please come to practise at the Conservative club Friday nights between 7 and 9pm. Or call Chris on mobile 07525724822 for more details.
Wadebridge Town Band wishes all its supporters and people of Wadebridge a very Happy Christmas and may next year be the best ever for us all.

20TH NOVEMBER 2012
11th november 2012
Wadebridge Town Band was proud to lead the Remembrance Day Parade along Egloshayle, Wadebridge on armistice day in November. Although short on numbers we entertained the marching parade and kept them all in step with our steady beat. This is why we need our own brass band to lead the traditional parades as it would be completely silent without us and people would be walking out of step. A neighbouring brass band would not be available to help as they are all out doing their own acts of remembrance on this day so it is important to keep this tradition going.
